Harley Quinn as a playable character in Batman: Arkham Knight

Harley Quinn

Fans of the ever increasingly popular Harley Quinn will be more than happy to hear that the Batman: Arkham Knight game, the final chapter of the Arkham Trilogy (Origins was a different studio) will include a DLC pack completely centred around the crazy princess of crime.

While it was known for some time Harley Quinn would be getting her own unique content, most assumed that it would be in the form of challenge maps but it has been confirmed that Harley will be in fact be getting an actual playable storyline all to herself, as you can see from the Amazon description of the DLC pack:

Harley Quinn

For the first time in the Arkham series take on the role of Joker’s psychotic side-kick Harley Quinn and wreak havoc inside the Blüdhaven Police Department. With this exclusive Story Pack experience events in the lead-up to Arkham Knight as you infiltrate Blüdhaven to rescue your partner in crime: Poison Ivy. Delve deep into Harley’s demented nature and utilize her devastating baseball bat to smash, crash and bash your way to a friend very much in need.”

Harley Quinn has sort of had her own unique DLC before with you being able to face off against her in a DLC which saw you play as Robin trying to get back a kidnapped Batman from a very distressed and much darker Harley.

It’s been a long time since this was out but finding a non spoiler picture was hard…appreciate the effort if you still plan to play Arkham City

This new DLC pack for Arkham Knight that will let us actually play as Harley Quinn should be fantastic as her combination of madness, gymnastics and fighting ability should create some very fun gameplay. Last time it was Harley facing off against Robin, this time she’s on Nightwing’s turf, so the games producers clearly like pitting Harley against Robins/former Robins. It is also worth noting that currently if pre-ordered through Amazon the Harley Quinn DLC is attached for free.

Arkham Knight was originally to be released last year but was delayed and will now be released worldwide by June 23rd of this year. For any more Arkham Knight news and eventual review, always keep checking back with The Big Glasgow Comic Page
