Forthcoming Attack on Titan anthology produced by western comic creators

Japanese publishing house Kodansha have announced a new, one-off 250-page Attack on Titan anthology, which will be made up exclusively of short stories written and drawn by western comic creators.

Confirmed contributors include Scott Snyder, Gail Simone, Michael Avon Oeming, Faith Erin Hicks, Kate Leth, Jeremy Lambert, Ronald Wimberly, Genevieve Valentine, Afua Richardson, Tomer Hanuka, Babs Tarr and Asaf Hanuka.

Contributors have been given the freedom to create new characters, and submissions will include a range of serious stories taking place within the established continuity, stories introducing the titans to new settings and some played purely for laughs.  The new book will be printed in the standard American-size comic format and is due for release in autumn 2016, with no current plans to publish the book in Japan.
