Chris Pratt has made no secret of the fact he stole his Star-Lord Costume after wrapping on Guardians of the Galaxy so that he could wear it to visit sick kids in hospital and yesterday he did just that as this photo from the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital twitter shows.
Pratt is reported to have spent quite some time at the hospital meeting his young fans and giving out GOTG gifts after they got to see a special screening of the movie in the hospital. Those unable to leave their wards to view the film also got special visits whilst the star was on site so nobody missed out.
But that’s not all the kind hearted outlaw did whilst at the hospital, no the loveable rogue went to say hello to another special kid who is a huge fan of the main component of the actor’s recent cinematic hits – The Lego Movie.
The Make a Wish Foundation arranged for huge Lego fan Dylan Prunty to receive a specially built Lego version of the children’s hospital and of course as the voice of the main character in the movie Pratt was keen to visit Dylan and show his support to a fan of his other work. As the photo below shows, they sure do look like they had a great time hanging out. (Plus look at that sweet Lego Hospital in the background, I wouldn’t mind one of those myself!)
Here at The Big Glasgow Comic Page we are huge fans of charity and helping sick kids in particular, in fact, we will be fundraising for Make a Wish Foundation later in the year so we think it is absolutely fantastic that Chris Pratt took the time to go give these kids a day that they’ll never forget.
Chris Pratt… Everything is Awesome about you!
