‘Snarl’ is a well paced take on the werewolf genre by Kelly Bender. Fast paced and well laid out with plenty twists to satisfy detective lovers.
Bust #1 is a gritty debut into comics from writer Dave Cook. Not just another Zombie story, This feels like Mad Max had babies with Gladiator then cast Jason Statham in the lead role.
On the one hand, the mellow nature of Lil Depressed Boy is what makes it so likeable and gives it character; while on the other, it makes for slightly dull reading. Thankfully the characters are amiable and the art work is tremendous.
Flesh tones #1 is a start to short horror stories by Partick Scattergood. Some zombies and a little pondering over what ‘real Horror’ is.
Sin Eater #1 Follows, reluctant young sin eater who eats the evil within people so they may rest in peace, but in a town frenzied with witch hunts is she safe? Can she live with the evil poisoning her so that others may have access to heaven?
Nick Gonzo delivers a lovely view of a genetically grown space explorer in this happy little indie comic 50SIGNAL.
Kat is Hollow, she feels nothing – not even when she murders her own parents. Such a void leaves a person open to others that may wish to inhabit that empty space, and Kat ismore than willing to let the tormented souls use her to get some retribution on those that wronged them.
Starburn. As a fan of Firefly, Dune, Star Trek, Titan AE, Battlestar Galactica and most other sci fi space travel adventures ( Shoot I lived on this stuff growing up ) This new Sci-Fi space adventure grabbed me, shook me and made me take notice.
Monster Home #2 is a great little indie comic from writer Dan Barnes. Enjoy a nostalgic trip down monster lane and try guess which will appear next!
